  • Cut down and level-off piles.
  • 8mm Beamform permanent shuttering installed.
  • 450 x 450mm steel beams contructed and placed in excavated trenches.
  • Concrete was poured and levelled to create reinforced concrete foundations.
  • Hoggin was placed, levelled and compacted to form underside formation of raft.
  • Timber shuttering was placed around perimeter of raft.
  • Timber shuttering also placed at various points to construct a toe upstand.
  • A393 reinforcement mesh top and bottom with 600 x 450mm ringbeam.
  • RC40 concrete poured via 5m conveyor belt due to restricted access.
  • Concrete levelled and given tamp finish.
