Machine Base and Reinforced Concrete Slabs - Drayton High Road, Norwich, Norfolk.

  • Construction of a new reinforced concrete base for a 25 tonne machine.
  • We used a floor saw to remove the existing reinforced concrete slab.
  • A pit was excavated to 1.3m deep with a 400mm deep channel through the centre.
  • Reinforced mess was then placed in the base of the pit and in the walls of the troughs
  • Concrete was placed to a specific level ready for the next stage.
  • Timber shuttering was made and placed where required along with holding-down bolts.
  • Concrete was poured using a stiffer mix allowing us to create the different levels.
  • The shuttering was removed and final touches completed the reinforced concrete machine base in Norwich.
  • We also removed 3 damaged reinforced concrete slabs in other warehouses on site and replaced these.
